Growing up traveling the world and dining in Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, I thought I had experienced the best of fine dining. That belief changed the moment I walked into Nobichon, a hidden gem in Taiwan that surpasses any dining experience I've ever had. The restaurant exudes a warm, home-like charm while offering the elegance of fine dining. The owners make you feel like family, engaging in genuine conversations that transform your visit into a deeply personal experience. One of the owners is a professional bartender who can craft any cocktail you desire, perfecting even the most obscure requests. The chef, a true culinary genius, not only creates exquisite dishes from the menu but is more than willing to go off-menu to satisfy any craving. On one visit, I requested a dish from my childhood that wasn’t listed, and what came out of the kitchen was even better than the original, deeply layered in flavors that transported me back in time. Each meal at Nobichon feels like a "last supper" level of indulgence. I’ve found myself returning multiple days in a row because the magic never fades. This is not just a restaurant you visit once; it’s one that keeps drawing you back. Nobichon is the best restaurant I’ve ever dined at, transcending any Michelin-starred experience. The combination of world-class food, impeccable hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone in Taiwan. If there were stock to invest in this restaurant, I’d put everything into it. Nobichon isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an...
Read moreJust finished eating at this place and was extremely satisfied..and want to talk about this place.
atmosphere was great...the lighting and music reminded me of a starbucks...comfortable and relaxing. The interior is nice and their was a projector playing music/background visuals. For those that drink, they have a nice looking bar as well!!
Food....i wanted an american style burger...not something from taiwan like mosburger and places that make good burgers are rare in Taiwan. Other reviewers commented that this place had great burgers and it delivered!! My daughter and I each had a smash burger..i had a spice up style and she had the classic....ever seen those pictures on the internet of a delicious looking burger and you wonder if thats real? well look at the picture i took of my burger from this place using my phone camera!! Burger was juicy and tasty, i also got the animal style fries....delicious!!!
They have other selections of food on their menu so its not just burgers so you have options.
For dessert i tried their new carrot cheesecake....tasted like a pumpkin cheesecake vs something that had a strong carrot taste...i enjoyed it!!
Great service....the owners (husband and wife) are a friendly couple that speak excellent english and Justine (wife) speaks mandarin as well. Had a great talk with her and felt at ease and comfortable at this place.
5 stars, 2 thumbs up, highly recommended! Walking distance from Costco and E sky mall....easy to find.
Thank you very much, ill definitely be back again before i go...
Read moreVery glad we gave this place a try after hearing about it from friends. Owners are very hard-working and fun to talk to. Great tunes playing added to the overall ambiance. You will feel very welcomed and know that you will get a good meal.
The mushroom soup received as part of the set meal was quite delicious, very savory and a nice starter. The fountain drinks are bottomless.
The burgers tasted amazing. Blue cheese is made in house, a small feat considering the majority of places in Kaohsiung don't even know that blue cheese exists. The bacon is cooked perfectly and adds a nice texture to the overall taste. They have several patty sizes ranging from 4oz up to 10oz and beyond.
Be sure to do yourself a favor and head to this part of town for some awesome food. If you use a car there is a large parking lot right across the street.
