Poor imitation of the original stores from Japan.
Ordered a 350g Tenderloin and was given an untrimmed cut of beef. Regardless, I accepted the said cut of beef, thinking that the chefs are skilled enough to cook the beef thoroughly at medium. (3/5 cooked in Chinese)
When my tenderloin came and when I cut it to check the doneness, it was a measely rare/med-rare standard (red inner and lightly pink outer). Asked for the meat to be re-cooked and literally, they took it to the kitchen, sat it on the grill for another 30seconds, and re-serve it back to me.
So obviously, the parts where I had cut were medium for obvious reasons. However, note that this is an untrimmed cut of meat. The thicker cuts of the meat were all still rare (red inner).
You'd expect some form of quality for having order 350g of tenderloin and doing the brand and meat some justice but no.
Highly NOT recommended. Just stick to the ones in Japan. This store in Taiwan is just a poor knock-off of the real store (in terms of both food quality and service)

Read moreThis is an excellent steak 🥩 restaurant in Taiwan. The prices are reasonable and the service is extremely good. You order the exact cut, the size and how it want it done. We recommend that you try medium rare or medium. If your steak size is large or more than 300 gms, go for medium instead as parts of it might be too rare. You can always send it back to cook further if you think it is underdone. All the steaks are juicy and absolutely delicious. Ask for advice on which cut if you have preference for fatty or more lean cuts. We went there 17 times to try out many different cuts and different types of meat ; top side of ribeye steak, middle or back side of ribeye, tenderloin, sirloin, filet mignon, prime beef 🥩 ribs, New York cut, Matsuzaka cut (which is fattier) and assorted dice cut (cheaper but not recommended).
