朴家村 — Restaurant in New Taipei

It was my first time visiting the restaurant this past weekend. All I can say is I’ve never had such a terrible experience anywhere else. Food is alright, but one server, in particular, had the audacity to quite literally “throw tantrums” by throwing things (see picture below for reference) after somehow customers “upset” her. Does she understand the meaning of “customer service?” I’m not at all saying “customer is always right,” but to throw a fit like a kid is not a good look at all for your restaurant. Though this is the case, excusing her behavior was par for the course with this waitress… I hope they can implement basic training for newbies when they enter food service or any other jobs in customer service- it’s the least they can do to gain favorable outcomes...

One of the worst Korean restaurants I tried in Taipei, my bill was 329 for self-bar and 1 dish of chicken but honestly, self-bar just has some cheap ones , not even cheese rice cake like a basic type we can see in Korean tokbokki, not many side dish and quality of food is under average level. Young lady is the only server in the restaurant and she talks so fast but it’s understandable when she is the only one. Never...

My friend recommended this restaurant to me, and I had a bless. The food was delicious, especially because of the extra cheese "ring" we ordered. Also, at the self service table the korean fried chicken and the ice cream were great. The staff was very friendly and can speak english. The atmosphere of the restaurant felt very comfortable and welcoming. Could recommend to anyone who is looking for a great korean...
