Kirin Pasta — Restaurant in New Taipei

Soup reminds me of powered milk, pasta arrived steaming while I was just tucking into my soup. Either service was quick or I was too slow.

Pasta was dressed lightly in the lemon sauce, quite summery and zesty, I like the colours, but keep thinking maybe it’s missing some cheese. I think they used candied dried tomatoes instead of savory ones, something I didn’t expect. Zesty through to the end, a bit too overpowering for my liking.

It’s not really a crispy sea bream if it’s not crispy is it? Maybe it’s an error in translation, on the menu it’s written pan-fried in mandarin. Told the boss and he thinks “crispy” and “pan-fried” is the same. Utterly...

2025/08 最近買了幾次外帶，麵條變得很軟爛，有一次有訂單備註但還是一樣軟爛，跟以前比差很多，吃起來口感非常不好，還請留意。

= 2025/02 又漲價了，去年下半年漲價過，現在又漲，平均每款義大利麵/燉飯/焗烤飯漲價10元。 各別幅度較大的：奶油培根麵漲價15元、黑松露野菇燉小麥漲價20元。 麵包漲價5元、沙拉漲價10元、披薩漲價10元。(菜單忘記拍，先memo給自己看)

-番茄普切塔麵包$50：兩片真的軟的軟法+醬料一小盒。自己回烤略酥脆比較好吃(每人口味不同)，番茄偏酸，感覺有加醋？，輕微洋蔥味道+明顯大蒜味。

= 2025/01 披薩可以外帶了，不介意邊角會被壓碎的可以吃，包裝較簡陋如照片。披薩是薄片披薩像窯烤那種。 -榴槤披薩 加購價$110(以前70還60沒有吃，現在直接飆升)：有鳳梨罐頭的碎鳳梨屑每片各一粒、起司、感覺變成液體跟起司已經融合的榴槤汁(？，口味略甜約三分糖(個人是無糖人)，吃二片就可以了不然會膩。 -德式酸菜燻鴨披薩...

I've eaten at Kirin Pasta every week for the past year. It's a short walk from my apartment. The service is great, friendly and very efficient, and the food is always tasty and plentiful, served piping hot! Salads are fresh and served with a tangy sauce, including a variety of ingredients in generous amounts. Imported Italian beer served cold. Second beer discounted.
