Warning: if you expect an ordinary standard hotel, this is NOT. One star is to appreciate cleaning staffs and the reception staffs who are nice. The room was extremely small, in a degree that you wouldn’t be able to totally relax due to suffocation by the space. There’s not enough space to even have a piece of surface(table?) for backpacks or handbags or hanging the second coat. You might be able to put snacks, drinks on the TV table. Open the Luggage? It would block half of your walking space. The bathroom is very tiny. Mine is a corner triangle bathroom that I could only stood by the toilet to have a shower. After shower, everything was wet. Opening the windows in the bathroom for ventilation would be a bad idea. Because of no mesh, mosquitos sneaked in. The hotel told me they have no solutions for mosquitos. The wet bathroom made everything wet, hanging towels in the bathroom was impossible to get dry. Moisture invaded to sleeping area, no surprise mold was spotted by the ventilation grille. Also If you are unlucky enough like me, encountering bad neighbors smoking in their rooms or somewhere, the AC will bring you cancerous smoke and the hotel staffs won’t do anything to stop it. If you expect water kettle, fridge, or mugs, they don’t exist. There are two bottles of water for you every time after cleaning. The shared fridge and filtered water is outside of the room. A famous(? I was told) Taiwanese fried pop chicken and more is right downstair. Hotel is close to the subway station and the blue line is right toward downtown Taipei which is convenient. Price is affordable, but I regret not being...
Read moreHonestly not bad at all. Decent place to stay. Facilities is barebones. Staff are friendly. None of the staff speak english however we both used google translate. The bathroom serves as a wetroom.
Price is good. The hotel undercut the market as I came for the New Years countdown for 2024 so I am thankful for that.
As solo traveller my room was a bigger room compared to other reviewers.
Tip: you should bring your own supplies such as toothpaste, shower gels, slippers etc. I asked if they had soap, spare multi plug extension lead, steam iron to borrow but I got declined on all fronts. They do have a hair dryer though!
The area is pretty good. I find the most restaurants close a bit later than ones around Ximen. The area is quite populated too. The Banqiao MRT station just further up is massive and has a few big...
Read moreRoom is quite small BUT !!! It's good for single traveler with limit budget. You'll get a single bedroom with private shower bathroom. Room itself also has a self-control air-condition. WIFI signal is good. Each floor has its own style decoration. Hotel is located at 5 minutes walk to Fuzhong Station. You're able to take " CITUBUS 1962 " from Taoyuan International Airport and get off at Fuzhong Bus Stop, it's just opposite side at the corner of intersection which is easy reach from Airport at 135 NT. Many restaurants, shops and convenience stores are just right there. I booked a single room with no window and the weak for this room is you will get up late because you won't know it's morning...
