Kura Sushi Far Eastern Banqiao Zhongshan Store — Restaurant in New Taipei

This was located in a mall within walking distance while staying at Hilton Taipei Sinban. Everything is self service. I was not able to read the menu on the screen to order on demand rather than getting one of the plates on the belt. After asking one of the staff there, she was able to show me how to change the language to English. This definitely made my ordering better. Away from the crowds at Ximen yet convenient to get to. Staff were really polite and the place didn't feel very rushed or hectic. Sushi was good, the gachapon was a nice gimmick with funny animations playing on the ordering screen. But the star was really the dessert, the taiyaki with softserve was awesome and didn't seem to be available in the Kura Sushi...

If you don't speak or read Chinese you're gonna struggle. Staff didn't speak English, the menu is Chinese as well as all signage and instructions how use the system.
