La Foresta by Narrative — Restaurant in New Taipei

Had the carbonara and "white wine clam".

This restaurant does not claim to serve authentic italian food as far as I know. It is not traditional according to Italian standards.

But it taste very good and that's what's important.

Carbonara: they used linguini for this dish. The bacon is okay but not similar to guanciale or pancetta. There was also some mushroom. I asked before if they used cream and they said they only use egg yolk and cheese. This made me decide to order this dish. I don't think they use pecorino since the flavour is pretty light.

The pasta was not too soft, and overall it tasted great. In this case I'll overlook the authenticity aspect and I'm happy the food tasted good.

White wine clam pasta: Same here taste great but do not expect authentic Italian style since they use taiwanese basil in this dish. It does taste good no matter what and the chefs know what they are doing.

Prices are fair and the staff is hardworking and friendly. They also clean the tables fast. Total price 490 NTD.

Very nice small restaurant and a great choice if you want to eat pasta in Taipei.

你們有吃過還想念的經驗嗎？ 那天朋友帶我去吃一家，含金量超高的餐酒館，但店外觀不起眼到，我照著Google導航走，明明顯示已經抵達，但我還不知道在哪裡！

原本不抱太大的期待，但沒想到吃完後，我卻大大打臉我自己。廚師們平均只有22歲，但卻各個已經身經百戰、獲獎無數。從前菜到甜點，每樣都值得細細品嚐。

🔅西西里炸海鮮 NT.300 把澎湖丁香魚、淡菜、蝦子等，搖身成為金黃酥脆的炸海鮮。輕薄酥脆的外皮，淋上檸檬汁和巴沙米克醋，不會感到過多的油膩。

🔅佛羅倫斯燉牛肚 NT.280 佛羅倫斯的經典菜。和台式的滷牛肚不一樣，和胡椒、番茄及香料一起燉煮，不論單吃或搭配麵包都非常美味。

🔅煙花女義大利麵 NT.350 「煙花女」是將所有東西放在一起的意思，有點類似「什錦麵」的概念。看似普通的義大利麵料理，但味道卻一點也不馬虎。 以番茄、酸豆、橄欖等主食材，與草蝦、蛤蜊、淡菜等經大火翻炒，最後再加上細膩炒功收汁，將滿滿精華鎖進麵條裡，恰到好處的麵芯口感，細細品味著不同層次的味蕾感受，酸、鹹、辣相互結合，將料理的好滋味提升。

🔅墨魚燉飯 NT.340 黑到發亮的透抽燉飯，米心保有硬度。整體味道帶點奶油香但不會太膩口。上方擺著透抽更是主角之一，淡淡的鹹味和海鮮鮮美，讓這道燉飯更加令人驚豔。

🔅櫻桃鴨胸/紅酒醬/馬告 NT.580 「法式櫻桃鴨胸」以低溫舒肥讓肉質保有水份、呈現絕佳柔嫩度，最後大火香煎鴨皮使表面酥香，一刀切下，粉嫩鴨胸伴隨肉汁，單吃就非常好吃！也可以沾上海鹽或是淋上濃郁的櫻桃醬汁，都讓我愛不釋口。

🔅必點森林提拉米酥 NT.200 蓬鬆溼潤的口感，伴隨著些許醉人的微醺滋味，完美昇華這頓餐的氛圍。使用咖啡酒、威士忌做得提拉米蘇蛋糕，原以為會是酒味濃厚、略帶苦澀烈口的酒漬蛋糕，沒想到竟是如此的濃厚香醇，酒香和蛋糕的濃郁放在絕佳的平衡上，搭配上頭撒上的可可粉，讓蛋糕做出了最不一樣的詮釋。

一頓佳餚，讓我體驗到不同的美味。在板橋巷弄內，竟然隱藏著這樣的好滋味、好廚師、好地方，歲末佳節就要來了，如果你正在找尋一個聚餐的地方，那不妨考慮一下「La Foresta by Narrative 森林敘事」
