As someone who lives in Vancouver and has access to amazing sushi, this was a serious treat. It was just enough food, each peice was hand crafted and had a story as yo why it was done that way, of course I don't speak Chinese or Japanese, so I have no idea what was said, but each morsel was a unique experience. The Wasabi was the real deal and the ginger was something of legends.
It worked out to about 1600 NTD per person and the chef picks what you eat. I noticed that no everyone got the same thing. The Asian couple beside us got something a little more adventurous than we did,but I can appreciate the chefs care into making sure that this was an amazing experience for us.
Not cheap,do not go here expecting a bargin. These guys are masters of their craft, and I believe should be paid accordingly. The cheapest sake was 800 NTD, so again not cheap, but soon worth it.
Also, of note, they don't take credit card, so make sure if your going budget about 2500-3000 NTD per person. It was about 5000 for us (roughly 250 Canadian)
