元手壽司 - 朝富店 — Restaurant in Taichung

In theory, in a high-volume, mid-priced sushi joint such as this, the fish should be good, but here it turns out not to be fresh. 2 of my 10 pieces of sushi were ok, but most others were straight rubber. A good supply-chain manager and better freezing techniques are sorely needed,and of course a real Japanese chef would be nice. Is also annoying that the only sushi set on the menu includes only 4 pieces of sushi.

Servers were good and ambiance is ok. Was funny to note that cars parked in front of the restaurant were exclusively Mercedes, BMWs,...

The sushi is good, but the service needs serious improvement. Some of the staff are nice but I would say the majority are on the unfriendly side. Multiple times I needed to ask 2 different people before I got what I asked for.

New negative experience. I called in to see if there was space for 2 if i arrived in 15 minutes. She said right now no but come in and line up. I asked how long and she said it depends. So we walked over in less than 15 minutes and the same lady tells us it'll be a 50 minute wait... You couldve told me...

Sat and ate at the bar by myself, the a la carte items were served to you by the chef himself, it was awesome. Fish is as fresh as it can be, and the cut is just large and thick. Nigiri takes two bites or you will look like a chipmunk. Highly recommended!

Went again with family this time and ordered more food. Still as good as it was before. We really enjoyed it. Parents...
