A-Lien Rice Noodle Soup — Restaurant in Taichung

I planned to visit this restaurant long before I departed to Taichung. It stills up to my expectations. I visited in the first hour after it opened at 11. The restaurant was comfortable and clean. The food was excellent. I enjoyed every dishes in my set meal. The oyster rice noodles tasted fresh and sweet, I even drank up all the soups. The tofu (in dry style) was soft and tasty. Least but not least, tried the "TaiChung signature pink sauce", good balance of sweet and spicy! This shop is on my "must visit" list...

So happy to find this shop on google. When I entered the shop, I was greeted by a mild but friendly beagle (she’s so sweet). Service was prompt and d friendly. You take the menu and market from the cashier counter, tick what you want on the menu. Then show the cashier the ticked menu, pay and sit at any available table. They will bring the delicious food to your table. I ordered dry rice noodle (request for extra wet ie more sauce), small intestines and pig blood soup. All was good and pricing reasonable....

The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered the Oyster noodles and were pleasantly surprised that the oysters were really fresh, juicy and plump. Would say the noodles were alright, but the side dishes more than made up for it. CP value is just about right for the close proximity to Taichung TRA station.
