忠孝路觀光夜市 / zhong xiao lu guan guang ye shi in English we call Zhongxiao Road Night Market is a one long road in Taichung, Taiwan where the are a lot of food stall and store in the night. This night market only provides variant of food, you can't find fashion item, souvenir, etc here. The night market is quite simple where it is consisting of one road with food stalls and stores in our left and right site. Since car and motorycle can pass this road, we need to be careful when walking and keep noticing the traffic light.
At this night market, I had my drink at 50 岚 / 50 lan (for more detail, you could read my older post about 50 lan at Zhongxiao Road Night Market). And also for dinner, based on the recommendation from my sister's friend who studies in Taichung, we eat something that is quite unique for us. Though the map lists hours starting at 3PM, none of the vendor were set up the Sunday I visited. I returned later at about 8PM to find them open and spent a little over an hour here, walking a few laps.
Would I go out of my way to come here, considering they have shorter hours compared to Yizhong or Hanxi, no. Logistically, one would have to leave the others during prime time to come here. Yizhong is open by mid afternoon and runs all night. Hanxi is up and running by 6PM and is open till 1AM.

This black tea shop was a blockbuster for a reason but ordering can be quite challenging for non-Chinese speakers even with the help of Google Translate. Thanks to a nice local, I manager to order a a large black tea, but sadly, no boba.
