I did not like this place. Unfriendly vibes from the get go. They put us in the back and then left us alone for ages. No explanation about how to order drinks. We had to walk to the bar area to ask them ourselves and then just sort of awkwardly hung around waiting for them to help us out. I understand that they may have been nervous with us being foreigners but I can’t imagine this was the first time that they had received foreigners. We were there to celebrate my friend’s birthday but it was not a great experience. Our seating area was right by the toilets and the air conditioning was blasting down on us so we felt super cold. We asked to be moved and there were no problems with that request. But they took us right to the centre of the room where a live performance was taking place. The performance was ok. Great live lounge bar in Taichung.

The deduction is mainly from A) the break time between rounds is much longer than other lounge bars I’ve visited in Taipei and other worldwide cities, maybe almost an hour, and B) the smoking area is mixed in the same space, making the whole space smoky and unpleasant.

Band performed is still great with proposer interaction, covering wide range of the songs. It’s really chill inside to spend the evening with friends or great mates, but the smoking inside is a huge issue for me which impairs the overall...

I walked very far to come here to try out the spot because I heard good things. I wanted to come in and check it out after I got off work. I just wanted to get a quick beer on a Thursday night to see if I wanted to come back on the weekend. This is crazy! You don’t want money? You lost a customer that would probably come back with a big group of people who would spend a lot of money. Your reviews are already low… good luck staying open with these kinds of policies.
