It belongs to the standard business hotel… the room is spacious and clean and well maintained…however, i have issues with the bathroom flush and the shower head / tap switch… which took me sometime to figure them out… There is a lobby bar on the first floor where we can wait and drink machine made coffee…..the gym and laundry room is located at B1… there should have better indications of how to open the gym door and lobby bar door… sometimes there is no one to aak about how to go in… maybe the washing machine needs to change the rubber rims cos of accumulated dark spots… but it’s free so i am not really complaining… ||The hotel has excellent front desk and housekeeping staff…. Special thanks to Cindy Lai who went the extra miles to find out the rates for taxi chartering… sorry that we did not take it up in the end though we thought it’s a good idea… grateful that we took the advice to go to LuKang old street instead as the places we plan to go is too far. Read moreThe hotel was nice, but the room felt a little dated. It felt like it should be upgraded to 2023. I haven't seen a DVD player in a hotel room in more than 10 years. There were some light rust stains on the towels, and the room thermostat was not digital as I have come to expect from most 5 star hotels in Taiwan. I would have also expected a hotel like this to have room service. To my knowledge, the hotel didn't have it. The WiFi was spotty and inconsistent. It was faster just to use the 5G on my phone. On the plus side, the room was spacious, and the jacuzzi tub was great. When you turn on the water to fill the jacuzzi, the water comes from the ceiling, which is quite unique. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The TV had access to YouTube and Netflix, as well as regular cable channels. Netflix was a pleasant surprise. The room also had a microwave oven and an ironing board. There are many great restaurants in the area, so you'll never be short on places to go out for a meal. Overall, I would rate my experience around 3.8 stars. The staff were super polite and very accommodating. For a modern 5-star hotel, I think there is room for improvement.
