I was blown away by how generous they were when I came here with my friend. They close at 8:30pm but they let us stay until almost 10pm as we hadn’t finished our meal because we had got in just before 8. Also my friend and I are like chatter boxes! We talk way too much and we had a lot to catch up on. They were very accommodating and worked around us as they cleaned up. Fantastic customer service! I ordered the B1 which was a burrito with green chilli sauce medium and my filling of choice was the grilled chicken($210). I also ordered a side of guacamole ($50) and mini churros ($80). I got a nice glass of margarita ($120) and that was delicious. I wanted to get another but I didn’t, that’s for next time. It was mildly strong and great value for money. In fact the whole meal was great value for money. The burrito in the sauce was not what I expected but surprisingly good. The guacamole came in cute and was well flavoured. I really enjoyed the Mexican food here and will definitely...
Read moreI have eaten at another Mexican restaurant in this town and I thought it would be the only good Mexican restaurant in Taichung, but I was wrong. I wanted to try Aztec for some place new and it is around the corner from my hotel. What a delicious meal I had. I have a background in Mexican cuisine and usually make my own. This place did it justice. My burrito tortilla was soft and tender and the filling was really delicious. The refried beans, the sauce and the fresh chips were perfect. I ate everything on my plate. My margarita was freshly made and was amazing that I ordered a second. Thanks for a great meal. Only bad thing was a table was left unbused the entire time I was there. So once the restaurant started to get busy, they had to run around to clean and reset tables for new guests to sit at. Don't forget to bus those tables as guests finish eating so you don't have a table full of dirty dishes at the end....
Read moreOne of the few restaurants in all of Taiwan that I felt came close to serving authentic Mexican food. I had the enchiladas, which already is an item that many Mexican spots in Taipei do not have, and they were right on point! It was delicious and I definitely could have had another serving. The refried beans were also excellent. The Mexican rice was not quite there though. It tastes like they cooked the rice just with tomatoes. Traditionally it should be cooked in the broth of a chicken tomato soup but with all the chicken and tomatoes taken out of it. Regardless, I was very happy about choosing this place to eat at. Highly recommended. Great strong...
