I was looking forward to eating here— I read all the positive reviews and decided to give it a try! My boyfriend and I arrived around 7 pm on a Thursday; there were 4 people in the restaurant and at least 5-6 empty tables. When we entered, a woman asked if we had a reservation. I said no, and she replied “Oh well then there’s a 30 minute wait.” A 30 minute wait in a nearly empty restaurant? Literally there were 4 people and none of the tables had reserved signs. I was a bit surprised and said, “Oh really? But there’s no one here.” The woman rudely said, “There are people here.” Her tone was very unfriendly and put us off immediately. Read more泰小館自從4年前吃過後已回訪不少次,足見我對這家店的喜愛。店家是一人掌廚與一人外場的經營方式,因此對客人用餐時間的掌控非常嚴謹,建議來訪前一定要先預約,另外店家的用餐規則較多,也建議上網瀏覽且同意後再訂位。
▪️金錢蝦餅 60(個) 外層蝦醬四季豆金黃酥脆,圓圓胖胖又厚實的金錢蝦餅,內在是扎實且Q彈的蝦漿,但蝦漿的鹹味較突出,建議沾著隨附的泰式酸辣醬,讓甜酸的滋味浸潤,增加味道的豐富性。
▪️蝦醬四季豆 120 四季豆應該是過油處理,熟度適中且沒有吃到纖維,蝦醬的味道稍嫌不夠,但許多人懼怕的臭味也比較淡,整道菜還算喜歡。
▪️泰味茄子 120 茄子也是過油處理,保有本身的紫色帶油光,這道菜的調味應是使用蠔油與魚露,相較四季豆的調味,味道更足也強烈,但礙於茄子本身特性,油膩感也會隨之提升,若喜歡清爽的口味,建議點選其他蔬菜。
