BEEFHOUSE — Restaurant in Taichung

• I cannot recommend the house steak! (Taiwanese steak)* It's the cheapest "steak" on the menu. It has the consistency of a sponge. It doesn't taste like meat. It really doesn't have a pronounced taste of anything. At minimum get the sirloin.

The squid is great and the shrimp is normal. The buffet is pretty great. They have a little bit of everything. Soup, salad, various fried items, pizza, various Chinese dishes, ice cream, coffee machine, and soft drinks. It's all pretty good. Nothing really stands out as amazing.

Because of the open dining room style. It can get very loud. There's nothing to dampen the sound. Also it's a poor design having everyone stand around at the front door. Makes it difficult to come or go. Outdoor seating is for folks waiting for indoor seating. Parking is non-existent. Good space for scooters. Maybe 2 for cars. The men's bathroom is small and only has one toilet. The design of the common sink is small and leads to a huge mess of water and paper.

It's not bad of a restaurant. It has a little bit of everything going on. I think I prefer GOD BEEF further down the road.

Went on the weekend, place is lively around 4:30 already. The buffet is great I love the thin crest pizza, during the 90 min I am there the pizza toppings did not dupe at all, everytime I gone by a different topping of pizza. Tomato with mozzarella, mushroom with cheese, pineapple pizza, seafood, beef sausage, pepperoni and red bean with green tea. I think I literary at a whole pizza with all different toppings.
