The first time I went to the Frank in Taichung was a year ago and I thought the waitress was so rude that I walked out without ordering. The funny thing was that I went there on a weekday and it was empty and she still gave me unnecessary attitude. Anyway I went back recently and it was much better. The male servers were great and super nice. I went there kind of early-ish like it was approaching 11pm and it was pretty empty considering but I’m assuming it would get more full later on in the evening. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to stay longer than 30mins so I can’t confirm for sure. This Frank is way bigger than the one in Taipei and it has a lot of cool features like a set of swings in the outside area. Also an indoor food place. I tried their slushy alcoholic beverage and it was not bad. It took me a while to finish but I did like it. They definitely were generous with the alcohol. Also if you sign up to their Line using a barcode you get a free shot. I gave my free shot to my friend. I think it was a...

The worst feeling of expat discrimination ever in Taiwan. Been living here for 13 years, APRC holder and was barred from getting in by doorman and manager. The reason: No passport and therefore no way for them to check when I last entered Taiwan... So now they have their own cdc... Nevermind that Expats cannot come in since March, nevermind the Aprc, nevermind the covid cases brought to taiwan were all locals. No matter not having stamps to check the Taiwanese last entry. Expatphobia to the Max! Never again. And to management, teach your doorman to at least let us get out of the rain before...

Nice lounge bar with a modern theme and great atmosphere. Staff are all very friendly albeit some are clearly new to the job which is understandable since the place just opened a few months ago.

Next time I'll make sure to book a table next to the glass windows. The smaller tables around the middle column aren't really laid out in a way that promotes mingling so there's a good chance for improvement here.

All in all good music mix, volume and atmosphere makes for a place to drink and chat...

Overrated bar. Overpriced drinks, unfriendly staff. Their last call is actually 2am, and close at 2:30am not 3am. Men no shorts allowed. $400 tequila shots , $300 gin&tonic, $1500 mini moet from vending machine. Smoking is allowed indoor. A bunch of 18-20~ taking selfies all night or throwing up... Can't say I enjoyed it. However nice interior design and they are opening their outdoor area soon, so maybe it would be better.
