In Joy Hotel — Restaurant in Taichung

My husband and I stayed at injoy hotel from 4th to 6th April 2023.

Extremely humble and polite staffs who went all out to ensure my husband and I had a pleasant experience.

Had a minor issue with the room on the second night. However, when we feedback, they immediately offered a new room although we did not request for it. As they were mindful that it was late and inconvenient for us to switch rooms with all our belongings, they allowed us to keep the keys to both rooms till the next day and arranged late check out for us so that we did not have to rush to transfer items between the rooms.

During check out the next day, we were pleasantly surprised that the staffs gave us a complimentary bottle of wine.

Definitely the staffs of injoy went all out and beyond with their services for their guests.

We are really thankful to have chosen injoy hotel on our first trip...

This location is just a 7 mins walk from Feng Jia night market. The hotel service staff are very good, and friendly. My partner fell sick and we called reception to ask for advice for clinics nearby. The staff said they will call us back. Waited for 5 mins and one of them came knocking on our door, with a printed map, highlighted 3 nearby clinics, provided us with the details and even checked the clinic’s time etc. very impressed by the service and thankful for this as we managed to rush to the clinic before the closing hours.

The hotel room is also very clean and I like the breakfast spread. They offer free supper too from 9-1030pm daily.

Overall a very good experience and I will definitely return...

Walkable distance - about 10 min to Fengjia night market. Quiet rooms if you keep the windows closed and 7-11 is opposite!

Room is small but ok. I'm a little affected by how the shower is right beside the entrance. When we enter the room or exit the room, it can be a bit annoying to push the floor mat aside when we want to walk in or out. Also I'm particular aboutt having some shoe space but the entrance is very cramp with the external basin being part of the entrance corridor.

Other than that, the room is ok and clean! There's free sparkling water at each level’s lift area.
