Laojing Gokujo Yakiniku Chongde Branch — Restaurant in Taichung

This location is not as nice as the other one I went to, but great place to eat. I took off one star because they insist on cooking the shrimp themselves and the employee burned the legs of the shrimp so badly that the whole thing tasted burned. Also, we went for my girlfriend’s birthday, and although the birthday presentation was nice, the cake was the worst tasting cake I have ever eaten in Taiwan. I also took off another star for the food because very often Taiwanese don’t know how to use Sichuan pepper. They are like Americans and think that a whole lot of spice equals flavor. Me and my wife are non-mandarin/non-cantonese speakers who tried picking a restaurant for our dinner in Taichung. We ve never tried any grill/yakiniku restaurant before. In this restaurant, Flower, Leaf, Ou and Yuan really served us well. We really saw their willingness and attempts to explain and describe everything to us. Especially Ou and Yuan. This is really the opposite of a normal restaurant services in Hongkong (we came from HK). This restaurant serves foreigners with amazing services, with amazing foods, and worth the money. 今天點的是極品安格斯牛小排雙人套餐

▪️海味鮮蛤粥（白飯加價換） 本身沒有很喜歡吃粥，但我蠻喜歡這個粥！ 不知道是不是因為他裡面有很多鮭魚又或者是說他是白飯的替代品，總之我覺得吃起來蠻讚，簌簌簌就吃了四碗，但希望他油條跟蔥花都可以給多一點。 裡面有很多鮭魚碎屑跟像是花枝的東西（？）咬起來脆脆的然後還有蛤蜊跟蛋花ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

▪️韓式泡菜（算是前菜 不能續） 算是好吃的韓式泡菜！ 對 評論很簡短 因為我只吃ㄌ一口：D

▪️鮭魚炙壽司（前菜） 看了很多評論都不太建議加價升級落葉歸根，加上我沒有很喜歡生洋蔥^_^ 就沒有升級變成落葉歸根。

上來的時候冷掉了，這點蠻可惜，鮭魚本身偏厚我覺得是好吃ㄉ！ （但還是希望他上來的時候可以是剛炙燒完）

▪️辣妹子雞腿肉 雞腿肉好像有三種口味可以選，覺得椒鹽看起來太普通就選了看起來會辣的辣妹子口味🌶️ 他調味弄得很好！吃起來的味道我覺得很像麻辣花生的味道（很久以前流行的黃飛紅花生的味道）剛入口很麻，嘴巴真的超麻，吃下去之後才會感受到辣(^^;; 我們兩個都蠻喜歡這道！ （除了雞肉很難烤以外都很好）

▪️井緻安格斯牛（烤到血水出來翻面3-5秒） 記得配海鹽蠻好吃～～

▪️安格斯厚切牛（烤到兩面微焦） 可能因為偏厚的關係，或是我們烤太久，有點難咬斷。

▪️紐西蘭精選牛舌佐洋蔥丁 牛舌烤得好，吃起來脆脆的很讚，配上洋蔥丁也是一級棒！

▪️安格斯手切牛小排（牛裡面我最喜歡這個！） 我們沒聽到店員說要怎麼烤，或是他忘記告訴我們。我們就照自己的方式烤（也可以說是照朋友ㄉ方式烤哈哈哈哈哈）吃起來外面有一點脆的口感裡面很軟嫩_:(´ཀ`」 ∠):

▪️稜角松阪豬 松阪豬可以選要薄切還是稜角，但松阪豬就是要吃稜角ㄚ！而且吃燒烤肯定不能少了他吧！好吃好吃！就是松阪豬，跟之前吃過的松阪豬一樣好吃(´꒳`)

▪️草蝦（店員代烤） 不知道是因為烤太久還是怎麼樣，吃起來偏乾，而且腥味很重，不喜歡(´･_･`) 後來沾了檸檬汁個人覺得勉強有救回一點，但蝦子還是水煮的最好吃啦٩( 'ω' )و

▪️生蠔醋飲（跟草蝦是一個set） 沒有很喜歡吃干貝，但很喜歡吃生蠔🦪 這個看起來很奇怪，今天也不知道哪根筋不對就點了^_^ 醋偏酸裡面還有透明果凍（我覺得比較像寒天？）然後一個超大生蠔哈哈哈哈哈還有一些卵 生蠔的味道認真聞那杯是聞得到的，吃進去蠻鮮，但他有點太大顆不好一次入口，但如果咬破他掉回醋裡面，醋可能會變得很可怕⋯

這杯缺點可能就是不夠冰！他如果夠冰，醋應該會很讚（夠酸夠冰就給過）

▪️烤布蕾（甜點🍮） 上面焦糖很薄，薄到沒辦法敲它：（ 下面的布蕾口感比布丁再水一點（？）我沒有很愛這種口感，布蕾就是要紮實的口感啊！他怎麼吃起來比某布丁還水

▪️100%鳳梨柳橙蔬果汁（這個是加砂糖） 看了很多評論一直在這個跟蜂蜜石蓮花裡面糾結（我超喜歡喝石蓮花打成的果汁🍹），但感覺要喝點不一樣的，平常在家都是喝石蓮花鳳梨蘋果汁，加上昨天看評論有人比較推這個，就點了：D 就是鳳梨柳橙汁，但喝到後面會有一點鳳梨纖維的感覺刺刺的。

▪️水蜜桃醋冰沙（我不確定名字，但他可以無限續） 好喝！水蜜桃味很重～ 我們續了三壺快快樂樂(●°u°●)​ 」

▪️雞湯（附贈的） 就是雞湯。

▪️沙拉🥗（和風） 我不吃生菜沙拉，無法評論：D 裡面有黑色米香（長得很像米血糕哈哈哈）

▪️生菜🥬（附贈給你包肉吃的） 原封不動的還給他了。

▪️百香脆果、青木瓜（招待小菜...
