Me and my wife are non-mandarin/non-cantonese speakers who tried picking a restaurant for our dinner in Taichung. We ve never tried any grill/yakiniku restaurant before. In this restaurant, Flower, Leaf, Ou and Yuan really served us well. We really saw their willingness and attempts to explain and describe everything to us. Especially Ou and Yuan. This is really the opposite of a normal restaurant services in Hongkong (we came from HK). This restaurant serves foreigners with amazing services, with amazing foods, and worth the money. The peach vinegar was really good too. Will recommend this restaurant to my friends...

I was blown away by the service at laojing yakiniku restaurant, very nice atmosphere. The food was amazing, we are enjoyed your delicious food especially the Gokujo US Angus beef, Peach Vinegar was Outstanding Zuperbbbb. GREAT CUISINE & WORTH THE PRICE!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 The staff here and the manager are truly care about their guest (Best service for Flower, Leaf, Ou and Yuan) 💖💖💖💖 Thank to all the for the hard work and making my dinner experience memorable 🥰😍😘

The place is well decorated with a classy vibe. The service is great with multiple waiters/waitresses assisting whenever possible. We ordered a combo meal for 3 which included a selection of beef, pork and seafood. It is a self grill place, but the seafood was cooked for us. The restaurant is pretty high end and it reflects in the price point very much so. Overall, I would say it is a good place for a friends/family chilled vibe gathering place.

Great place, better grill and wonderful service! Tho waiting time would be a lil while, they would provide smoothie for compensation. Meat are great, Wagyus soft and greasy while matsusaka pork chewy, and seafood are all fresh. Not to mention their service so nice and friendly even servants are so busy. All in all, highly recommend for reservations beforehand, and having delicacies with ur friends and family.

晨涵, Ash and 素靜 were very friendly and accommodating. They checked up on us as we were dining and provided a very friendly experience. We ordered the short rib set and it was very delicious with the different sauces and side dishes. I would come back again to dine in Taichung.

It extends many branches including Hsinchu. The staffs are too busy to take care of each table but still keep great manners for service. One reminder of this kind of restaurant is that chicken is not a good choice since it takes lots of time to roast.
