A cute hidden cafe for the true Studio Ghibli fan.

This cafe-shop maintains a sense of serenity, made better by the details of Totoro figures on display, painted details from such movies as Howl’s Moving Castle or plants and natural light flooding the space. The staff are thoughtful and nice, and found a way to accommodate us even thought they were very busy on a Sunday.

The food is above the average for an “instagramable” cafe. We ordered the Totoro shaped bread that did not disappoint in cuteness. Please note that after the novelty dies down, it is in fact toast and jam. The art for the coffees were impressive and brought joy to the table.

The set meals were nice and balanced, and we left feeling satisfied (but by no means blown away by the flavours). The waffles were definitely the best thing ordered, crunchy on the top but fluffy below- although they could have been more generous with the maple syrup.

Coffee was fine, not anything special except the cafe art. Which was really amazing. I admire how they make it. Mainly, you visit cafe for vibe, and that's what this cafe provided too as well. Met one of my friend almost after 3 years. Since we are foodie, we decided to go for a big feast. Had Korean hotpot for lunch, then coffee and this cute cafe. HAHA. After arriving the cafe, we checked the menu and really got excited by seeing the latte art. We went to order our drinks and out of no where my friend asked the arista to make CAT on his latter as he likes cat more. HAHAHAHA. I was like, why they will make cat. But Barista was really nice.
