Without the understanding of the history of the place there's nothing to see there... people are very nice, they invite you to see the inside of the buildings... you can buy a coffee... I'm afraid I totally missed the point why is considered an attraction... it looks like a ruin and a deserted place...

近美術館，美術園道旁，有幾個入口可以進入忠信市場。 裡面有非常美麗的英式茶館，彷彿廢墟中的金礦。還有待挖掘的特色店家、咖啡店...。 美術園道上，youbike站, 總是有一隻黑貓。它認識很多當地人。 沒落的忠信市場，外圍的店面都還在營業，但裡面市場已沒落，已非兒時記憶中的繁華，幾乎不見攤販。但是對著無人的賣菜屋子喊一聲，會有親切的婦人回應。 還有一家古早味肉粽，非常好吃。 外圍店家都還在，有一間曾氏滷味，旁邊賣飯或麵羹，一家店面、自助餐店...幾家一直還在的店家。 後來開了一間暗藍色店面，令人驚艷的一間英式茶館_英老鎮玫瑰茶館。多了一些奇幻的風格。裡面漸漸多了一些文創店...有一些書店、咖啡店... 但不一定營業中... 有些旅客進入被廢墟般景象...嚇到，哈，它其實沒那麼可怕。只是，不知道黑貓半夜會不會變幻成巫婆... 而且，也不知道你會不會跟千尋一樣天黑後就困在裡面...

A rundown market that has a specific vibe, almost like a typical Chinese ghetto that is frozen at 1980s. Good for a 10 min sightseeing. There are also some interesting restaurants and cafes around the peripheral of the market. But just like all around Taichung, they only accept cash,...
