Pork & Egg Toast — Restaurant in Taichung

Such a fantastic breakfast place! Obsessed and wish they had a branch in Taipei but probably good thing for my health that they don't 🤣 really fantastic toast sandwiches, really affordable and satisfying and simple, and remind me so much of my childhood breakfasts in Taiwan the classic pork slice and egg is very good but my ultimate favorite is the tuna salad and egg. The tuna salad is a good blend of sweet and savory with corn kernels mixed in ♡ the bread isn't toasted but in traditional super soft crustless white bread style. Their danbing is super good too, we tried kimchi and it has a lot of kimchi filling, super strong flavor! Only wish they had hot sauce or chilli sauce for condiments Their iced Americano is really good too, strong and refreshing!! Next time I'm in Taichung I'll for sure come back and try the corn soup, pan fried dumplings, radish cakes and milk tea P.s. also got the ham and egg toast (good!) And strawberry jam toast (solid but personally wasn't a fan of the thick slimy jam texture) service is super efficient and quick which is great seeing as it's so busy...

A famous breakfast cafe provides you commonly traditional Taiwanese food above the overall average with great value. Beneficial from the fast ordering system, the queue can be processed efficiently. In general, you’re not going to wait a long time for your take-away even though it seems like so many people waiting in line outside. The signature dish is toast sandwich with pork slices and fried egg. There’re other combination for you such as cheese, salad, tuna, bacon, ham and so on. The bread is just slightly toasted and come with a softly fluffy white bread style. There’re a variety of egg pancakes for your service as well. The beverage offers you options including milk tea, tea latte, soy milk, black tea, juice, Americano, caffe latte. You may change the sweetness of drink based on your choice. Price is extremely affordable for less than 100 TWD (3 USD) to get your meal. Dine-in is available on the second floor and it’s super crowded. One of the most popular breakfast shop in Taichung. It's located nearby National Natural Science Museum and open until 12:30. Perfect for breakfast and brunch.

MEAL : Love the pork toast (肉蛋吐司). They give quite generous amount of meat. However, the bread is a little bit soggy, since I prefer crunchy toast.

I recommend the bacon egg omelette for the meal. You can add the condiments, such as thick soysauce and chilli sauce for better taste.

For drinks, milk tea is my all time favorite. Their milk tea has a little hint of vanilla taste. I think they add vanilla ice cream (?)

EATING SPACE : It's on the second floor. Very crowded. You probably need to wait in line to get a seat. Or if you don't mind, you can try to share table with other people, like what people do in Hongkong.
