Airline Inn Taichung Green Park Way — Hotel in Taichung

My family has been staying here for years and will continue to do so! The location is great; right next to the Sogo which has so many restaurants and even a supermarket on the ground floor. Plus there are a lot of other shops and restaurants within walking distance, a Family Mart and 7-11 in the same block, and you can see the bus stop from the entrance.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. There are different configurations to almost every room. I stayed in a single, my parents stayed in a double king, and my brother's family stayed in a double queen room. You can also select an interior room with no windows, which seems a little weird at first but means it's really quiet. The bathrooms come with a washlet and a nice deep bathtub that's separate from the shower and they provide amenities like toothbrushes, combs, etc.

The front desk staff are always very friendly and helpful. My parents would ask them to call taxis for us a lot. The cleaning staff are FAST. I'd be gone for an hour, turn on the housekeeping request button, and it would be done by the time I returned!

One of my favorite parts of the hotel is the breakfast buffet. I stayed there for over a week, and every morning the buffet was a little different so it didn't get boring. There was a different soup each time, different hot dishes, etc. There was always bread, fresh fruit, salad, different steamed buns, sweet potatoes, a type of fried potato (like tater tots or fries), a type of steamed dumpling (like shumai), different sauteed veggies, congee with all the toppings, hot soymilk, hot black tea, coffee, juices, and made to...

The best hotel for families in Taichung. Excellent service, great room size, laundry facilities (pay per use, must have exact type of coins), internet and a 4g phone for you to bring around to use( with 4g network). Buffet spread in the morning not great, no windows in the room and the building is a bit dated. They have virtual windows in the lobby, wished they put them in the rooms too. Location is hard to beat. You've got a shopping mall(a bit upscale though), convenience stores and Watson's retail pharmacy (no pharmacist, off the shelf meds);right next to your front door. Wished the groceries were nearer (20 minutes walk). This hotel puts to shame the business hotels I've stayed in; every socket is an international socket, and each bedside has TWO. So assuming you stay in the family suite (3 double beds), you would have a total of eight. Family suite has a tub and a shower (faster turnaround). Super helpful concierge. The staff are very friendly, professional, and very helpful which made us feel very comfortable during our visit

Manager (Bennie) was very helpful and very knowledgeable about tours and our needs

The location is fantastic with the transportation needs (bus, trains and other transportation) being very close to the hotel

The facilities are very clean and they clean the rooms very quickly and clean the rooms very thoroughly

Restaurants are plentiful around the hotel and there are a lot of places to eat

Shopping is very convenient, major department stores right next to the hotel was very nice

There is a park that is excellent with many activities, great place to walk off the food from the excellent breakfast (at the hotel) and the other restaurants nearby!

We will definitely come back to this hotel again when we visit Taichung!
