The God Beef — Restaurant in Taichung

Excellent soups and ice cream. The steak is standard meat you would get in the US. Cooked to about med rare. They provide a heated stone to cook it more if you want. There's no salt or pepper. Don't forget to add. The duck was super good. Crispy skin and cooked med rare. No sauces needed. The pizza is okay. There's no tomato sauce. There's a good selection of ice cream available and many drinks to choose from.

If you come from the US. Don't bother getting USDA or Angus beef. It will be the same thing you would get from home. Go for the duck.

I've been a few times to many. 1st time, my experience was great, no issues. 2nd time the food was good but the server showed me the menu from a tablet that had different lower prices then charged me full menu price about $100 NT differance. 3rd time it was 1 hour before closing and I was turned away and not allowed to dine at all. Finally the 4th and final time I bring my wife and they served us both very rare/raw steaks. It took 4 hot stones each to cook our own food. We will...

The steak was amazing. The lasagna that is advertised with pictures on the menu, in reality is penne covered with melted cheese (see picture). The all-you-can-eat “buffet” consisted of two small pizzas and soup. They serve coffee, but we were told they simply don’t have any type of sweetener anywhere in the store. We basically just left the coffee untouched. It’s worth a try, but I won’t go back. It’s rather disappointing...
