TLDR: long wait, cold and unappetizing food.

I don't usually write reviews but the food was so bad I feel obligated to warn others.

Staff was really nice and worked with us on Google Translate. Unfortunately the hot pot was out so we got the seafood bucket. Staff told us it wouldn't take too long but it ended up taking over an hour, and once the food arrived it was cold! Also, we ordered two bowls of rice but somehow the rice still wasn't ready when the seafood came out. Staff told us it would be another 10 minutes so we ended up cancelling our rice order.

They did give us free fries because of the long wait, which was nice. We could understand the long wait time if the restaurant was really busy but there were only 3 or 4 other tables when we were there. Also, it was just very disappointing for the food to come out cold when we waited so long.

The seasoning on the seafood wasn't great either. We've had lots of great seafood but this was by far our worst experience for seafood. Even though we waited so long for the food, I couldn't stomach eating much of it. My partner ended up eating most of it because he felt guilty that so much sea life was sacrificed for this dish.

I came here for the seafood boil after seeing how many good reviews there were. The staff is friendly but be prepared to be scammed if you’re a foreigner. The hostess gave me a different price after I finished eating the lobster bucket, AFTER she offered to give me less since it seemed like it would be too much for one person. I was originally quoted $1680, and then $1880 when I was paying the bill. But that’s the travelers gambit I guess. In general the food was slightly above average, would have appreciated not being taken advantage of 🤷🏻

*Edit – upon further comparisons, I received way less food than other reviewers and everyone else seemed to be paying...
