西海岸活蝦之家 — Restaurant in Tainan

This is highly recommended by the locals. This is child friendly and there are quite a few lots along the main road in between the trees.

Entering the restaurant, you will be greeted and you can choose the table. Ordering form is on the table and after you tick, proceed to pay.

The rice is free flowing and it’s where the sauces are. DIY. Add the soy sauce + green onion + red chili.

I ordered the Pepper Prawn (胡椒蝦) and the Salted Baked Prawn.

Salted Baked Prawn: beautiful, huge and fresh. The taste is nice but not awesome.

Pepper Prawn: out of the world. It’s cooked in a claypot type with I think pepper corn. It’s really spicy and ma la (麻辣) but the kick is awesome! I made the mistake of taking the shelf with my mouth!
