八色烤肉 — Restaurant in Taipei

Meat is nice but since it's a Korean BBQ, the spicy sauce isn't really nice, there's only kimchi as a side dish, and they don't tell you Kimchi is all-you-can eat until the very last second. So I didn't find those Korean flavours you would expect especially when paying this price. Service was extremely bad since they gave away our table we had waited an hour to get and then gives us some nonsense excuse instead of being straight with us that they had important guests. I’d give five stars for the service as our waiter was super attentive and kind due to our lack of Chinese skill. The food on the other hand was pretty good except the meat had a lot of cartilage and fat, possibly due to the local preference but wasn’t too much to our liking. Apart from that this is a popular spot to the younger generation creating a bubbly and vibrant atmosphere with a surrounding quaint trendy shops near by. Be sure to try the fresh juice Soju as it was delicious.

Ps. Be sure to spends some time in this street before hand as it’s a hidden gem to fashion...

Overpriced, bad and unprofessional customer services. First when we arrived at the restaurant counter no one come to ask or greet us. There are two young waiter and waitress looking at us and playing with each other. Second, bad customer service attitude and lazy especially those two young waiters, I remember her number is 53. It was like the last working day before CNY, so she wanna go home badly. Lastly, overpriced and come in a small amount. This is the 3rd time I’ve been there, and it was pretty okay before. I guess their quality drops these...
