Knew this place for quite a while but never visited, thinking it’s one of those ‘Instagram-inspired’ places rich with influencers and nothing to recommend. Oh girl, was I wrong!

Well they probably do have influencers coming here for photos and the old apartment vibe (I’m assuming it used to be school staff dormitory as it’s right by a high school). But the surprise lies with the owner (and his son’s?) passion for home roasted coffee. They have a huge variety of beans (sold in bags too) and roast their own on site.

I must say the prices are steeper compared to those in the neighbourhood cafe. But for the vibe? Well worth it!

I cannot recommend this coffee shop enough! Specializing in single-origin coffee beans and roasting their own, they deliver an exceptional coffee experience. The owner’s passion for the craft is truly inspiring – they took the time to share hand-pouring techniques with such enthusiasm and care, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. The gentleman that was helping us was amazing. He discussed our likes and dislikes, and made recommendations based on our preferences, which was just to our taste. The pour over has great depth, and the latte and the foam and milk was the perfect combo.
