Located in a small street (Li Shuei jie) very close to Yong Kang Jie MRT station which is easy to find. Staff in there super friendly and helpful, mostly mid age women, feels like visiting a friend's home. Food is awesome, we ordered oyster, bamboo shoot, pork, and two rices. oyster is fat and fat, very impressive! after dinner, we even have complementary fruits. decoration is good, using traditional taiwanese fabric as wall covering and local wooden furnitures. in a place serving this type of local taiwanese food, it's very clean and comfortable. i take one star out only because we had to wait a little bit even though i made reservation. overall great experience, very good for hosting foreign friends. i will...

Very local food if you like to try some Taiwanese cuisine. One special food is steamed pumpkin with black sesame seed. The grilled fish is great but rather blend and you need to dip into the salt . Drunken chicken served cold as appetiser which is quite tasty, half cooked oyster with bean sprout was greatly good. The grilled pork collar was good and perfectly prepared with juicy meat! Salted egg bamboo is appetising. The Taiwanese style frying the squid 🦑 was good to drink with few beers. Special vegetable fried with small shrimp and century eggs was good. Don’t forget to order the rice mixed with pork lard of you want to be non healthy.. it was so so good..Not a big restaurant and do make your...

Overpriced. For two of us, we paid 1100NT for 4 dishes (白斬土雞,過貓,鹹蛋綠竹筍, 芝麻烤南瓜) plus one bowl of 白飯 and 滷肉飯 (they also give you some onions at the start, tea, and guava at the end), which we managed to completely finish off. The food was pretty good overall, with the salty egg bamboo shoots being our favorite, but the chicken was unfortunately on the dry side. I suspect the free-range chicken was the priciest, but they didn't have prices listed when we ordered (something that was rightfully concerning). The dishes were pretty different from what I'd normally see in small street stalls and shops, so it was fun to try, but I suspect I can find better quality:price restaurants in less touristy...

This is your typical Taiwanese small dish restaurant. You're able to find traditional Taiwanese street food in the restaurant. Only problem is that their food is not very authentic street food. I had their oyster with garlic, problem is that they put too much cornstarch and they didn't take their time to wash it off before they boil it. So you get this cornstarch cover oyster and not able to taste it oyster at all. Their pineapple shrimp, they put too much coating and that it soak up too much oil. For a traditional Taiwanese restaurant there chicken I would consider not free range which make it not a true Taiwanese street food restaurant.
