軒壽司&割烹 — Restaurant in Taipei

Randomly and luckily I visited this omakase. Since i not pretty hungry so i ordered nigiri set (lowest value NT1500) and some dishes surprisingly amazing (金梭, 備長炭燒鮪魚大腹). Maybe would come back to try chef recommendation set (other higher price) to be amazed again. Service is just fair…but they refill hot tea quite often which i really appreciate that.

5 star ambiance and 5 star price-quality food!

We ordered the lowest value NTD 1500 set and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of every dish and the amount of food we had. Definitely would come back to try the NTD 2500 set and see what the difference is. It is rare to find such good value omakase in Taipei city now.

One of the newest sushi joint in town. New decoration and clean design. Had a sushi lunch here, about $1,200. Five kinds of fish ( hirami, kinmeitai, tai, yellowtail, and another kind of amberjack), uni, shrimp, and scallop. Overall, chefs skill pales in comparison to Nomura 野村， 子元，and other sushi joints in Taipei. Chef put too much soy sauce on everything.. I didn't even bother to take picture.
