I found this place on social media and the menu looked great on paper. I didn't expect much from the food. I thought it would be one of those places where the food only looked good, but I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the taste and the quality. There were so many creative dishes - especially the falafel eggs benedict, which was both unique and delicious. We also loved the fig ricotta sandwich, fried chicken with buckwheat crust and the pancakes were so damn good! I would definitely recommend going here. I would be there way more often if they were open on the weekends. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for the sake of my stomach) they are only open on the weekdays and it's an event venue on weekends. I have to mention that the place is very well designed with high ceilings and huge glass windows with sunlight...
Read moreCame here for breakfast at 9 on a weekday. We were the first ones here! First off, amazing interior design and atmosphere! The environment was definitely inviting and comfortable. Definitely didn't disappoint in that aspect. In terms of the food, the presentation was top notch as you can see from the photos and the taste of every dish was exquisite! Each dish had its own distinctive flavour made to perfection. You can tell the chef spends their time on preparing them. Compliments to the chef(s)! Last but not least, the service was excellent. Our server spent his time explaining the dishes that we ordered and we surely appreciated that! Would highly recommend! So far my number one breakfast spot during my time...
Read moreI recently checked out Chalet V in Dazhi, Taipei, and it was such a nice surprise. The place feels like a mountain cabin tucked into the city, wooden interiors, big windows, and a chill outdoor space with lots of greenery. It's quiet, cozy, and honestly feels like a little escape from the busy streets.
Bonus points for being pet-friendly! I saw a few people with their dogs on the lawn, which makes it a great weekend hangout spot if you have pets.
It’s a bit hidden—entrance is kind of around the side near Dianhua Plaza—but totally worth the find. I’d recommend going on a weekday since they close on weekends for private events.
Overall, a great place to relax, eat well, and enjoy a quiet vibe...
