This bar is a delightful gem located in the heart of Taipei City, just a 5-10 minute stroll from Dong Men MRT Station. The vibes here are truly exceptional, striking the perfect balance with music that's neither too loud nor too soft, offering a pleasant mix of J- hip hop and RnB that’s just right for chilling out. The ambience is inviting and makes you feel at ease the moment you walk in. It’s definitely a spot that I would recommend for those looking to relax and unwind with friends.

The service at Taihu Gyoza Bar is superb, making you feel welcomed and well-attended to. While the food is decent, providing just enough to satisfy without being extraordinary, it’s the combination of price, service, and atmosphere that makes this place worth visiting again. Even though gyoza is their specialty, the standout for me was the Lemona Lisa Fruited Ale, with its sweet notes and 9.99% alcohol content. One large glass leaves you pleasantly tipsy, perfect for easing into a good night's sleep. Overall, it’s a place I look forward to returning to!

Great vibe and awesome drinks, but the service seemed a bit inconsistent and frazzled, maybe because it was a busy Friday night. My friend had initially tried to book for his birthday and while they said they don't accept reservations on weekends, they tried their best to accommodate. However, they seemed pretty confused when we got there. Several staff members gave us conflicting information and we kept feeling like we were in the way. Thankfully, another party left early and we were able to sit down but the service remained quite inconsistent. We got drinks we didn't order that we eventually had to pay for. Taihu Dongmen is a culinary gem. Their gyoza and small plates are nothing short of fantastic. Paired with their exceptional microbrew selection, boasting unique flavors not found elsewhere, it's a dining delight. We participated in the sake bomb competition and came out with free gyoza! The vibe is upscale yet devoid of any pretentiousness. The old-school west coast hip hop background music only elevates the ambiance.
