We were in Taiwan visiting and of course I had to try this place not only because it was in the show I got to watch on Netflix 一千個晚安, but we love izakyas. This place did not disappoint! You need to make a reservation. We could of stayed there for hours eating and drinking. This place has a friendly, cozy, and lively atmosphere. Staff is so friendly, especially the owner or main host. He was so welcoming to us. We loved this place so much that we made a second reservation for the following weekend. Everything we tasted was amazing. My favorites were the steak, pork, giant shrimp, and squash skewers. I also absolutely loved the thin sliced trumpet mushrooms that were battered and fried. The seasoning on these mushrooms was addicting! I wish I knew what this simple seasoning was on top. Another favorite of mine was the kinako mochi!!! If we lived in Taiwan this would definitely be a regular restaurant for us! I can’t wait to get back to Taiwan and get some more of these delicious food! I’ll be seeing you...
