At first I wasn’t impressed. They sat us in the corner right next to the restaurant where euro trans music was blasting. Not the Michelin star experience I was expecting, but this is a mall. It’s also very hot in this corner, lights blaring and I’m sweating like cold slab of pork left out on a warm summers day.
The food however has changed my mind. Here’s the thing… the chicken reminded me of my late mom’s which is an impressive feat. The fish didn’t look impressive until you had a bite everything, my impression changed. I wish they told me it was completely boneless on top of deep fried fish skin! The house made hot sauce is amazing as well. The century preserve egg I can eat all day with a beer. Surprisingly the tarp appetizer was great as well, slightly salty, stinky and sweet (Salted egg?). Yes it’s worth the money however make sure you check out the meal deals because of it’s value. We did the 2 person deal but added a couple appetizers and extra buns because we have 2 kids. Overall, while there were some misses, the experience had its bright spots that any food lover...

So crispy and all the bones removed so you could pretty much eat the whole thing. Slight complaint would be the dishes came out with reasonable waits between so you couldn't pair any of them up if you wanted but ate each in its entirety before the next arrived. Overall though delicious and reasonably priced. Note this isn't the Michelin starred...
