查理運動酒吧 Charlie's Sports Bar — Restaurant in Xinyi District

I've got here twice. They have Belgian beers. Large french fries and many screens so you don't feel awkward if you come there alone. Good for killing time.

The latest I've tried their cocktails: Moscow Mule and Side Car. There's something less in the Mule, am I missing something? They give the remaining ginger beer in a bottle anyway, but it doesn't fix that for me. The Side Car is just right.

I'm a high rater in Gmaps (3 to 5). Three stars is something. But they deserve for the large fries, many screens, and good service. I respect that.

Lowest, possible rate is because a staff doesn't act respected, in a very subtle way I still appreciate. I know it's fine to expect a tip. But that's a customer's privilege you can't 'steal'. Be ethical. Give back the money according to the bill. It's just the second time I went there. In addition, if it's closed at 3 AM, then say it as it's supposed to be, not 1 h earlier.

Nonetheless, I would say it's not common, so you can still expect good...

We were in Taipei traveling and searched at length for bars that had the F1 race. Found this place after taking an hour’s worth of trains to get there only to find out a car club had rented out the entire bar for the entire night. The employees were extremely helpful in calling around to find a bar that had the race, but we also asked if this club had rented out the bar for every race in the season. He said they did. So despite their website touting F1 races available for viewing, they are in fact not open to the public for the rest of the season. Just thought we’d pass that along so no one else tries to go...

Was traveling overseas and wanted to find a place to watch the F1 Las Vegas GP.

Called and was able to get a reservation to secure a spot. The place is a bit limited in space and packed with F1 fans Sunday afternoon.

The chicken wings were crispy and juicy. However, was a little disappointed that all the mix drinks weren't available for ordering that afternoon.

Lastly, the waitress could have a bit more personality to make the experience more enjoyable.

Overall, not a bad place to visit if you want to catch a live game on TV. (Remember to call for reservations...
