I ordered the Thao bamboo rice, a traditional aboriginal dish, where glutinous rice is cooked inside bamboo, giving it a subtle fragrance from the bamboo. The stir-fried bird's nest fern and betel flowers were unique vegetables that I had never tried before in Taiwan. The stir-fried mountain wild boar pork was also delicious. Overall, the food was surprisingly good, and I would definitely recommend!

Here to experience aboriginal Thao cuisine. We order Thao Bamboo Rice, stir fried Bird Nest Fern, Steamed cold Chicken,Red Tilapia steamed with Chili bean sauce, and soy sauce simmered tofu. The restaurant quickly filled up with guests. Everything was very well made. Definitely recommend you try this place. Note: they only accept cash.

Excellent food great customer service. Must try the steamed chicken and roasted quail. For fish choose the cheaper one at TWD 500. Fish is fresh, no smell and not overly cooked. You will not regret as is so much better than the street food with air-conditioned and affordable price.

Most street food close by 7pm in the area and this unassuming restaurant remains open till about 8pm. Food is served quickly and freshly cooked. Food tastes great!!! Enjoyed the food in a comfortable environment. Cash only for payment.

We had lunch at this restaurant. The cuisine is Thao aboriginal. We found the bamboo rice very delicious. The rest of the dishes were good too. A nice place to try Thao aboriginal food.

Great restaurant to taste local food. The location is easy to find as well. We ordered 3 dishes: Orange Daylily soup, red fish soup and bamboo rice. Recommended place to try!
