Actually a 3.5 * in my opinion. The place does have some traditional fare but none of the dishes were spectacular. The best of the 9 dishes we ordered were the bamboo rice, spicy salted fried shrimp dish and a pork bamboo soup. The rest of the dishes were okay. The restaurant also seemed to have a number of fish options that we didn't try. The prices were reasonable but the place is not that clean (table was a bit sticky). Food is fresh and delicious! The local grown vegetables are a must try. Fried little prawns is a great appetiser. Calms and president fish are must try too! Oh, the bamboo rice is flavorful. Food serving is good for 2 pax so you get to try more dishes. Though they prefer cash, if you are a large group of 4 pax and above, inform the friendly lady boss you want to use credit card before you place order.

The food smells and taste great, but the kitchen window is wide open to the dining area so our clothes smell like the food for the entire day 🤣.

Our third Taiwanese food since we landed, so far it's the best. The white rice is free flow.

President fish is nice but careful as it has many bones. Fried spinach is flavorful.
