長青素食點心 — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

Just ate there for lunch today 07/29/23. This is a little hole in the wall but very clean and AC is strong. The place was packed and people waiting in line. I had three dishes (veggie bun, veggie beef stew soup, tofu puff) & they were all good…don’t be in a hurry to pour soy sauce or hot sauce onto any of the dishes as they are all well seasoned. The service was fast and effluent, but you got to pay first...

The service and food are fast even when it's busy; I only waited five minutes for my order of fresh steamed dumplings (and they are packed with greens!) and a mushroom bun, and there's lots of ready-made side dishes to choose from. The dishes are not overly oily, the vegetables taste fresh, and the price can't be beat! Great for a quick weekday lunch takeout. Pick up a latte from Aakii across the street...
