Pretty extensive menu of various Japanese dishes, with lunch specials and combo sets. Unagidon, like other places, comes in smaller and larger portions, with customizable amounts of rice as well: for the unagi itself, smaller was described to us as one strip/filet, while larger was two.
If you don't mind a "smaller" portion of unagi (see the photos below), the combo set is pretty good value, getting you a bowl of miso soup, some unagi fruit salad (which sounds and looks weird, but was actually quite refreshing), a delicious seafood chawanmushi, and, of course, the unagidon itself, with your choice of shirayaki or kabayaki.
The shirayaki, honestly, was pretty bland, and I think the intention was to season it yourself, to your liking, with the various seasonings provided at the side of the table. Read more再更:三訪(只計算跟女友去的次數,跟朋友去的不列入) 此次依然是點二訪來時選擇的餐點:甜蝦干貝生魚丼(兩人皆是) 因不吃紅薑所以幫我們換成龍蝦沙拉 鮭魚甜蝦干貝鮮度依然出色,該甜的都甜,該彈牙的都彈牙,油脂豐富的油脂豐富,跟前兩次來時不相上下,仍然為水準之上。 但是太出色的缺點就是我們反而都不太願意點其他主餐,因為真的太出色了對其他主餐反而沒興趣😂
一間店去一次感覺良好未必是真良好,但是去了三次都覺得優質那必然是真良好。 品管做得好可以讓客人吃得放心,喝得安心,消費起來更是開心。

經過短暫交談師傅得知我熱愛蝦頭,便提議幫我把蝦頭取下並塞飯進去後拿到廚房烤(兩人兩份餐四顆蝦頭)。 老饕們都知道蝦頭集蝦身全身的精華,而塞飯進去後更能讓飯粒吸收並鎖住蝦腦那濃郁的風味,拿到炭火上烤了之後上桌更是香氣四溢。 一口下去,酥脆的就像炸過一樣,鬆軟且吸滿精華的米飯配上酥脆的外衣,真的太好吃太厲害了!!!(沒有吃蝦頭習慣的女友也全部吃完並給予好評)
黑碟子為章魚蝦卵佐紫洋蔥與七味粉,口感微脆微彈。剛入口時有點嗆到,因為沒想到味道比較重,本來以為涼拌的會比較清爽,但後面越吃越香最後直接連湯汁都喝完😂(女友也覺得好吃)
此次消費依然滿意至極,額外的特別服務更是讓人驚喜連連,之前被我推薦而前去用餐的朋友們也是一致好評。

更:一訪因為當時有給五星送明太子山藥的活動因此評論當場匆匆寫下(一個月前的活動,當時我的餐點為小醬燒鰻魚飯(無刺)、單點日本生蠔、白葡萄沙瓦;友人的餐點為甜蝦干貝生魚丼)而此次會跟友人二訪就是因為她上次吃的甜蝦干貝生魚丼表現太過優異(與在北市吃過其他五間相比,小原田排名最後),而吸引我們再訪

The staff are very helpful and kind, and though I do speak some Chinese, even if you had no Chinese skills, the staff does what they can to help you order. It is not that hard though as the menu has pictures and Google Lens can translate almost anything.
