Astar Coffee House — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

This was the first time I had ever experienced such rude service in Taibei. I just walked into the cafe and was greeted with the most condescending "we only serve black coffee" I have ever heard in my life. That's a first. One of my favorite cafés in Taipei. A renovated space that's cozy with warm lighting and mellow music. Good coffee, and the impressive latte art is a nice bonus. Come early or make reservations.

Update 12/2019: Changing my rating from five to four stars because 1) no WiFi on weekends and 2) they charge 50NT for plugging in a mobile device or laptop... Highly recommend this coffee spot! It's a cozy and cute place to grab a bite (Amazing BLT and Farmers choice sandwiches) not to mention how AMAZING the coffee was!
