The store opened by the local and some foreigners. Recommended by my friend, I expected to visit this store. The boss-lady seemed surprised that we arrived earlier than appointment for half an hour, but the store had been opened for a while. When we got into the store, it was quiet. We started to play game and drink, then the girl beside the bar said that we were noisy to others. At that time, there were just we six people and one foreigner. I wanted to ask that cannot we make any voice at the store? Who were noisy by us? The foreigner? For a while, you found that someone threw up on the toilet, then you asked us that who did this? We visited on a Sunday evening for Sunday roast, owners were super friendly and food was great. Both expats from the UK - I'm a midland lass and my partner a northerner - and we both enjoyed our roast especially gravy and Yorkshire pudding! We've had far worse in the UK! I've had this place saved for years and this was the first time I made it in. Lively and spacious bar with good seating and bar areas. The HH offerings and prices were good. I wasn't going to order food, but the food my friends ordered looked so damn good I was tempted to order my own. I got fries with cheese and gravy and it was OUTSTANDING!!! And I love how the staff kept clearing the table and not letting out dirties pile up. The trivia night was fun, but could have been shorter, so we left before it was over.
