We went close to closing time, but staff stayed open for our party of 11. The waffles were crispy, but the drinks are sweet. All the waffles are exactly the same, which is sadly unfortunate due to the varieties they off. If you ordered fruit waffles the flavour is not in the waffles, they just throw some fruit and whip on top. And not a lot either, just 3 cut slices of strawberry, orange, honeydew, which is quite disappointing. In the afternoon the place is busy for café goers, and the place is jam packed until 8pm. it's become hard to find a place to eat near Zhongshan on weekends. today, we strolled through the alleys and stumbled across this little cafe that was pretty empty (soon, more customers showed up), so we got a table right away. i had the truffle mushroom risotto, which was pretty good. the truffle was very complimentary and not overpowering. the risotto was al dente with just the right amount of bite. the portion was actually big for me, was definitely full! my dinner partner had the spicy omu rice, came with fried chicken and broccoli. my dinner partner seemed to enjoyed it as well. definitely want to go back and try the desserts, since everyone seem to...
