The staff is not friendly! !!!!! Bad bad bad!!!!!
50 minutes before closing, they did not want to serve two families of foreigners with children and a pregnant woman. Said they were out of scones and out of coffee and hot drinks. They can only sell last 6 scones. 45 minutes after we bought the scones, we decided to sit down to eat them there and the pregnant lady was tired, she needed to sit down. At the same time, the cafe was filled with people at the tables. By the time the scones were brought to us, the waiter had taken the tea to a nearby table and pulled out many freshly baked scones from the oven. And when the waiter brought ours, they were for takeout. She did not allow to stay to eat. The men agreed with her. But the waiter did not take out the plates, but allowed us to eat from the paper and also told us to take the trash with us! 🤪🤯 I only give a star for the good not perfect scones. The staff is very bad!!!! My family and I will never go to this cafe again and do not recommend it as a...
Read moreLovely cafe with a variety of scones. The size of the scone is larger than average. We were greedy and ordered four of them. The matcha and yam paste scones are unique and delicious. I still like the unadulterated original version the best. The lady behind the counter asked if I wanted fresh cream. I said yes, thinking it'd be given on the side. But they cut each scone into halves and put the cream in between them (see second picture). Take note of this if you don't fancy cream. I like the spatial arrangement of the cafe and its vibe. There's one minimum drink order per person. For two Americano and four scones, we paid slightly more than 500NTD.
N.B. There's a WiFi in the cafe, but it was not working when I was here. There's a 90-minute seating time limit when the cafe is busy. I came in at 11, and there were two other tables occupied, but by 12 noon, the crowd started to come in, some dining in and...
Read moreWent to the store this summer several times with friends and family; really enjoyed its atmosphere and food.
I liked how they utilised wooden materials and yellow lights in the interior to make the shop warmer; and loved that they did not pack the space with too many tables so that visitors could still keep some distance from others
Scones were just amazing; they’re not like what we usually have in the UK however the kinda mixed the eastern and western styles in a good way; they seemed to order scones from a group bakery and heated in a big oven; scones sold out pretty fast during lunch time but could wait for another 40-50 mins for another round; the self-made cream is highly recommended
Besides scones would also recommend the croissant! No one can resist the crispy skin accompanied by fresh and smooth egg salad!
