⏰Visit: We visited it at 11:30am-3pm on a Sunday. There were already many visitors, but due to the spacious area, it still felt very comfortable and not too packed. 🌿Environment: The space is very trendy, aesthetic and comfortable, with a lot of greenery, benches, and clean toilets. There is a nice balance between indoor and outdoor spaces. 📸What to do: There were many tents on a grassy area for a food fair when we went. There are also many permanent shops selling interesting trinkets for a mostly reasonable price. I also especially love the many busking performances going on. 🍰Food: There are many nice cafés and some restaurants inside the park itself, most with both indoor and outdoor seating. We ate lunch at 12nn and only had to wait for 10 mins. 🧳Location: It is quite close (~30 min train ride) from other locations like the Taipei Main Station, Taipei 101 Tower, Eslite Malls, Zhongshan Park etc., so you can easily fit it into your travel schedule. Overall, a very nice space to wander and eat in for 3-4 hours. I would definitely recommend visiting it on a weekend as the atmosphere and busking performances are for sure the highlight.

Sorry for the late review, huashan 1914 is a tricky tourist site. On some popular travel reviews, this place is not even mentioned and other who do, mention very little about it. Huashan 1914 is mostly a park you can walk around, but it does have artsy type exhibits and stores you can explore. Most of the attractions you would need to pay to get in, relatively inexpensive, I forgot the price offhand as I did not have time to explore everything. But if you are into art, Manga, and cutsy things lime emoticons. Doreamon, hello kitty, and other such related things, then this is one nice option to kill time, or at least appreciate the artwork, galleries and such exhibits. From my understanding, exhibits change all the time there. Outside of Huashan 1914, you can easily walk close to the main street and bump into a Starbucks, 7 eleven, Mos burger and some Japanese restaurants all nearby Huashan 1914. All in all, I had a good time here, as you will see when you walk outside of the park, there is electronics shopping nearby as well as a small street alley where there is a ton of restaurants as you head back towards the MRT

From a tourist's perspective, I would not prioritize visiting Huashan 1914 Creative Park. It may erroneously come up as a major attraction when you search for sights in Taipei. However, in reality, it's a former industrial site that's been rehabbed and is now used as a creator-themed community space that also houses a few small shopping and food/coffee establishments. It's pretty low-key at the moment (2024). As it further expands its use of its available space, it may eventually become a must-see tourist spot. However, I don't think that would align with its purpose. It is a nice place though and I'd certainly recommend stopping here if you have extra time on your hands while visiting Taipei. Whereas, if your time in Taipei is very limited and you're struggling to take in all the major sights, it may be best to put this in the "maybe" column of your destination list.

Went to Taiwan for a competition. Was stressed but just by walking through the park, I gradually felt more relaxed and comfortable than I have felt in ages. Nice atmosphere, bookish, calm, surrounded by nature and vintage looking buildings. Great for photography; recommended to use a vintage film cam for better vibes, but a normal phone camera like mine will also work. Great for those whose ideal day is to relax, sit back, enjoy a cup of coffee and a book surrounded by aesthetic nature. ~🌲☕️📚🌷✨🎞️ Also a variety of small businesses and stalls, the occasional fair and pop-up store. Unique products that can be found nowhere else, full of creativity and at the same time aesthetic and useful. When I went there, I went into the Jujutsu Kaisen and Claude Monet pop-up store. Products were appropriately priced and well-made. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
