偶然在二手書店看到創辦人蔡小姐的書—我會自由，像青鳥一樣。 我是正在家庭關係與社會價值苦苦掙扎的小小籠中鳥，於是我帶走了這本書，希望能得到心靈的自由。 在帶著幾本書逃到好友租處借宿時，首先翻閱並花了兩天看完這本書，第三天想都沒想就坐上一個半小時的自強號想一探究竟何謂青鳥的靈魂。 走進華山入口，抬頭就能看見正面樓梯轉身向上二樓的獨特三角窗建築。當下我好像可以理解為何在書中，蔡小姐說的那裡就應該是書店的意義了。 它位置實則明顯卻又因建築設計，而擁有神秘感，華山確實沒有他處更適合當書店，畢竟書店就像知識的魔法屋，太明顯會感到庸俗與嘈雜，神祕與寧靜才是最適合看書的地方。 內部空間雖然不大，但是充滿舒適感，尤其是在傍晚後，內部燈光與擺設的色調會進入一種與白天陽光從三角窗打下時截然不同的感覺，一早由白到晚上時的淡黃，感覺就像是一日一世代。 我是坐在右側牆邊的高腳椅，上面有毛氈般的墊，一整個下午也不覺得臀股不適，只有冷氣與冷品讓我發抖，點熱飲也許更適合這裡。 選書上以當代經典的人文歷史、文學，以及近代媒體為主，也有些台灣很具意義的小眾書籍，分區擺放，我想若有幸將這些書籍都看過一遍，絕對會是很大的收穫，另外我個人認為這裡的人文選書也比較柔和一點，我的意思是指讀歷史並非要挑起憎恨，而是理解並避免重蹈覆轍。 這類書店餐飲的價位我想是許多人認為CP值不夠高的，但當我理解獨立書店關於精神的小眾市場在物質世代的經營困難時，我很樂意把我身上有的給予，不論是消費書籍或飲食，因為當我坐在這裡擁有一個身心寧靜的世界時，那是用更多金錢或物質都無法換取的價值，或者該問自己：你願意拿多少錢換取內心的寧靜？ 另外，我感受到店員也很努力在維持良好的形象，他們對待彼此有禮，對我也是。即使我剛好聽到店員好像在為了訂購的問題與商家理論，但就像蔡小姐書中說的，其實最後誰對誰錯並不重要，而是大家都能好好的。 所以店員若累了，可以忙裡偷閒翻翻店中的書，或靜靜地感受氛圍，我相信會找到心中的自由與寧靜的，因為你們早已身處在青鳥之地了。 最後，謝謝你們建立與維持這間書店。

Such a cute, compact, magical little bookshop/cafe. Easy to miss but always busy. Great decorations and location. Be careful, their cocoa is very caffeinated, unlike most cocoa I've had in Taiwan. Not a serious complaint though.

Such a cute, compact, magical little bookshop/cafe. Easy to miss but always busy. Great decorations and location. Be careful, their cocoa is very caffeinated, unlike most cocoa I've had in Taiwan. Not a serious complaint though.

Such a cute, compact, magical little bookshop/cafe. Easy to miss but always busy. Great decorations and location.

Be careful, their cocoa is very caffeinated, unlike most cocoa I've had in Taiwan. Not a serious...
