With so many 5 star reviews, the expectations were high. We were on the waiting list and luckily someone backed out so we got our spot.
The restaurant runs 4x services per day, 2 at lunch and 2 at dinner. The reservation system opens up on the 15th of each month for the following month so, if you want to have the time slot you want, mark your calendar for the 15th to check the online reservation system when it opens.
The restaurant is nicely decorated, easy going on the eyes, about mid to upper mid level. Comfortable is probably a good description.
The service is very good. The food is cooked for you at your table and the waitress who served us was very professional and friendly.
As for the food. We all thought it was very good but not exactly spectacular... But... if you are from NYC or some place where the restaurant prices are crazy high, then I would say the food to price value to be really excellent.
We all found some of the dishes to be delicious and some to be so-so. It was all nice but not like everything was out of this world, 5 stars nice.... Would we go again... probably yes, but not right now... maybe in a few months or next time we're back to Taipei.

You can make the reservation on their website and I believe that only dining times within the next 2-4 weeks are available.
The ingredients they used were very fresh and the amount of courses served is definitely more than enough to leave you feeling stuffed. However, the flavors itself wasn’t mind blowing for omakase and tasted pretty much what you would expect good ingredients would taste like. It also appears that they switch up the menu every so often, so my pictures are of their menu back in April.
In terms of service, they have one server per two tables and they alternate between each table to chat with you, grill the meat, and serve you your dishes. Our server was very friendly with the other table but for some reason was very moody with us. She still completed the whole course well but attitude was definitely an outlier compared to the typical friendly...
Read more*restaurant gives you free dessert if you give a 5 star rating. I opted out because I wanted to give an honest review.
The restaurant provides a high variety of dishes. It’s unfortunate the quality of the food is below average and their execution is poor. Wagyu beef is the worst I’ve experienced and the seafood didn’t taste fresh. The atmosphere is more like a run down izakaya serving food in batches like at a wedding. I would suggest spending just a bit more dine at high quality yakiniku restaurants like...
