Spice, flavor, and heart—Hot Tandoor Village nails it!

I visited Hot Tandoor Village last weekend and honestly, I was blown away. The place doesn’t look super fancy from the outside, but once you step in, it’s warm, lively, and smells amazing. You’re immediately hit with the aroma of charcoal-grilled tandoori meats and rich, buttery curries—it’s impossible not to get hungry.

I ordered the tandoori chicken platter and a paneer tikka masala, with some garlic naan on the side. The chicken had that perfect smoky char, juicy on the inside with just the right amount of heat. The paneer was soft, swimming in a thick, flavorful sauce that I couldn’t stop dipping my naan in.

Service was fast, friendly, and personal. The waiter even checked to make sure the spice level was okay for me and offered free refills of water without being asked (a small thing, but appreciated).

Prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes, and the vibe was relaxed—perfect for families or casual dinner with friends.

This was excellent Indian food. The food was very fresh and clean. We happened to be staying in a container house on the premises and ate here the first and every night we were in arusha. The food was delicious, and the staff and owner are friendly. They're also open very late which is nice when you're hungry for a late meal. They're open until midnight and only closed Sunday. Went for Lunch on the 14th Feb 2022. What an experience, one of those places only the locals know about, cooking amazing recipes that have stood the test of time. A great vibe, nice outside seating to enjoy a cold beer with friends while share some of the best Indian cuisine East Africa.
