While the food was great, the service was alright. Before we ordered the food we asked what the exchange rate was to ensure we are aware of the cost as we didn’t have shillings on us. But when it came to payment they changed the exchange rate significantly costing us more $$. We explained to them that we would not have eaten in their restaurant had they mentioned this exchange rate as it would have been cheaper elsewhere, but they didn’t budge and sorry we made a mistake but pay the bill we want you to. I wish I could provide a more positive review but when a restaurant deceives their guests, it’s a concern that needs to be addressed. The food and service were great, but we were led to believe that they would honour the posted price on the menu. We paid the equivalent in USD and also confirmed with the waitress what the exchange rate was (equivalent to the market rate) but the owner decided to raise the price when we received the bill.
