This was my first time trying korean food in Tanzania and I was not disappointed. The restaurant is tucked away in a quite street located exactly where Google maps tell you, so its easy to locate. The interior itself is quite quaint and has a cosy feel, especially if you sit upstairs in the open floor. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and always available, which as a Tanzanian is a problem our hospitality industry sometimes has We ordered kimbap, cheese buldak, bibimbap and kimchi jiggae. All of which arrived within 15 minutes and were delicious. My friends had never tried korean food before but they too loved it. The prices are also reasonable in my opinion. At the end we were served with complementary peach tea, a nice roundup to the evening. To note the restaurant closes at 22:00 if you're used to staying late, be mindful. To the...

Food is great but choices are very basic. If you are missing home food/ home (South Korea) come here to have a taste (kimbap, ssamgypsal etc). Price is reasonable and the servers are quite good and attentive. The toilet was clean and had essentials. They accept both cash and card. Beware that they have a specific operating time. For lunch upto 2.30 pm they serve if I am not wrong. Then they open again for service in the evening. For dinner, the kitchen closes around 9-9.30 pm. So go there for evening hang outs but not for long haul. Do your research before you go. Don’t expect banchan/ side dishes with all the orders. They only serve free side dishes with jjigae / soup dishes. For other dishes you will have to buy separately. Loved the rooftop sitting arrangement and would...

It was a great experience to me trying something new at this Korean Restaurant. I have never use chop stick before. But i did my level best to learn something new. This place is very cozy and looks special to specific people (Korean Community who lives in Dar es Salaam). However everyone is welcomed. Hotel owner (Korean) she was worrying about the food we ordered, as she thought it will be wasted, because they are rarely serve african people to their restaurant. Tried their korean beer called “Jinro Soju”. Which 60% grain, 20% sweet potatoes, 20% tapioca, 50% Rice and 50% barley. It was too strong for me as alcohol volume was 25%. But It was worth trying! 😊

Authentic Korean dining experience. I've lived in Korea for many years and so I was craving the unique food. I got the famous Korean staple, kimchi chiggae (kimchi soup), which is spicy and contains cabbage and tofu among other things. It was very good and tasted just like it does in Korea. The small accompanying side dishes were fine. I'll come back soon to try other items on the menu, but so far so good.
