Let me start by saying this is the best hotel in Dar es Salaam. I have stayed here multiple times for vacation with my family of five and for business at the hospital. Location is in the heart of everything you need. First you feel a bit of comfort when you see the hotel security. When you walk in the hotel you are welcomed with an amazing ambience by all the staff with a smile and a welcome beverage. My room was perfect and comfortable. I had the family 2 bedroom with two bathroom. It had a living room and a kitchen. Breakfast at Urban by City Blue had so many food options for my family. With all my kids in sports. It is important to still stay active and the gym was a perfect way to stay on track while on vacation. OCEANVIEW while relaxing by the infinity pool was fabulous. The Conference room work perfectly for our business meeting. Exceptional customer service, great location. Not to mention I celebrated my Birthday on the rooftop. Chef food choice was perfection. Urban by City Blue should be your first option if you are traveling to Dar es...

I had a last-minute meeting venue request and both Bertha and Peter worked tirelessly to ensure they secured me a venue (the meeting spaces were fully booked for the day). I used the Private Lounge which featured a separate lounge and a table with seats set-up. It was perfect for my event.||The food is amazing!!! I tried room service and lunch at Metropole, chef’s kiss. The F&B service team is friendly and offered quick, intuitive service always with a smile. A big thank you to the IT team who were quick to respond to my questions and offered immediate and lasting solutions. Most importantly, they followed up on my level of satisfaction after a short while!||All the staff I encountered were friendly and professional. Special mentions: Bertha, Peter, Jackline, Martha and the gentleman from IT (sorry I didn’t get his name - he assisted me in room 304 on Wednesday, 5th in the morning and later in the afternoon in the Private Lounge).||I 100% recommend...

I had booked several fantastic resorts after this, so I initially thought this hotel would be the least impressive, but I'm not so sure anymore. The welcome was very pleasant, the staff are very helpful and kind, and the hotel is really good. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is fantastic. The pool is also very nice with a beautiful view. There are very comfortable loungers, much better than they appear in the photos. The only downside was that there was no bar or service at the pool. However, they were working hard on a bar, which looks like it will turn out beautifully. So, it will probably be ready by the time you...
